Who writes the pages
BaobabSIM writes and publishes every page. BaobabSIM is operated by LuKas Holdings sp. z o.o. in Warsaw, which is responsible for what the pages say; its details are on the About page. The pages carry the company’s name, not the names of individual authors.
Why the pages exist
We sell prepaid eSIMs for Morocco, Egypt and South Africa. The guides and help articles are written for people travelling to those countries, with one of our eSIMs or without. Because we sell what some of the pages describe, they keep to facts you can check: they do not rank plans, networks or shops, and they make no claim you could not verify yourself.
Where the facts come from
Every figure, rule, price and date on a country page or in a guide comes from a page listed under its sources, not from memory. The sources are regulators, the networks’ own pages, airports, government travel advice, encyclopaedias and travel and news publications. A company’s homepage is used only as a source for the company’s name. What we could not confirm is left out or marked as not confirmed.
Dates on the pages
Country pages, guides and help articles show the day their facts were last checked against their sources. The About page, the phone list and the legal pages show the day they were last updated.
Steps on your phone
The steps for installing an eSIM name the menus on iPhone, Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel phones. If a step does not match your phone, tell us and we will correct it.
Languages
The pages are written in English and translated into the site’s 16 other languages. A translation carries the same numbers, dates, prices and web addresses as the English page, and an automated check compares them.
Money
Our income is the price of the eSIMs we sell. No network or other company pays us for what the pages say, there is no advertising or sponsored content, no link on the site is paid for, and no page earns us anything when you buy elsewhere.
Reviews
We do not publish reviews or ratings we have not received.
Corrections
If you find a mistake, email contact@baobabsim.com with the address of the page and what is wrong. We check it against the sources and correct the page in every language it is published in.
