How it works

From choosing a plan to getting online when you land, in six steps. Most of it happens at home, before you travel.

  1. 01

    Check your phone

The phone has to take an eSIM and must not be locked to a carrier. Dial *#06#: if an EID number appears, it takes an eSIM.

  2. 02

    Choose the country and plan

Each country page lists the plans with the network they run on, the data, the days and the price per day. Pick the days of your trip.

  3. 03

    Pay by card

Payment runs through Stripe, and the total with tax is shown before you pay. If the eSIM cannot be made to work, you get your money back.

  4. 04

    Get the QR code

The QR code appears on your order page right after payment, and we email you the link. Keep that link private.

  5. 05

    Install it at home

Scan the QR code before you fly, on Wi-Fi. Keep the eSIM line switched off until you land.

  6. 06

    Switch on when you land

Turn the eSIM line on and choose it for mobile data. On a regional plan, turn on data roaming for the eSIM line as well.

What stays the same

Your usual SIM stays in the phone, so your number, WhatsApp and bank text messages keep working. The eSIM only carries the mobile data.

Calls and texts that reach your usual number while you are abroad are charged by your home carrier, as roaming. Calls over WhatsApp or FaceTime run on the eSIM data.
